You will usually get a $5,000.00 to $10,000.00 Down Payment. As with any down payment it is NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances if they default on the contract, as compared to taking a deposit and having to give it back with a Normal Lease Or Rent To Own Contract.
It is recommended that the Lease Purchase Or Rent To Own Payment be automatically deposited into your bank account so that you do NOT have to collect the Lease Purchase Or Rent To Own payment.

BUYING THE LEASED OR RENTED HOME
When trying to get a Mortgage on a LEASE PURCHASE OR RENT TO OWN property typically lenders will want you to have been in the property for 6 months to 1 year and have Canceled Checks showing that you haver paid on time.
